| Warriors sent a true development side, with18 players selected from the Academy ranks, and were allowed to dip into the first team squad to also use Phil Murphy and Marcel Garvey as they made comebacks from injury and Tim Collier and Gavin Quinnell.
The visitors, captained by Murphy, were always in complete control against the North Wales regional rugby team and ran in 11 tries.
Quinnell grabbed a hat-trick to push his first team claims and there were also tries for Alex Grove (2), Jordan Page, Glyn Hoosen-Owen, Lotti Molatika, Charley Thomas, Greg Evans and Ollie Frost. Tim Streather kicked six conversions and George Crook slotted two kicks.
Academy boss Andrew Stanley said: “It was valuable game time for all the players involved but the bonus was being able to give games to school boys such as Ollie Frost and Mike Hill alongside seasoned first team members who set a first class example in attitude and approach to the game.”

Warriors Academy is next in Guinness A League action on Monday, February 11 when they entertain Leeds Carnegie at Sixways Stadium. Entrance is £3 for adults and free for juniors. Season Ticket holders and Debenture holders are given free admittance.
