| The Partner Club package was introduced in 2004, in an effort to enhance the relationship between Worcester Warriors and other Worcestershire rugby clubs.
Warriors Community Development department initially invited ten local rugby clubs to take part in the exciting venture and, building gradually, now works closely with 14 partner clubs in developing young players and coaches countywide.
The aim is to develop two-way rugby support between the Warriors and the partner clubs. This involves:
• Warriors coaches -- including two first-team players -- working with club coaches to deliver a coaching session to a group of Mini/Juniors.
• Coach development session for club coaches.
• Priority booking on Warriors Coach the Coaches events.
• Promoting your club within the local schools in your area that take part in any of our Community programmes.
• Exclusive ticket promotions.
• The possibility of hosting a Premiership Rugby Academy camp at your club, to boost local interest.
‘We realise the impact our players and staff can have on the wider game and hope that the involvement of a high profile club can grow the game at all levels across the region.’ Tom Ryder, Warriors Community Manager
“We also consider it essential that we pass on useful knowledge gained at the top level to the local clubs, the aim being to improve the standard of rugby being played throughout Worcestershire.
"Sixways Stadium has gained a reputation as a formidable place for Premiership teams to visit. This is largely down to the tremendous atmosphere created by the supporters, many of whom are provided by the local clubs. We’d like to encourage and promote this relationship."
