Samoan smasher Dale Rasmussen - renowned for his fierce tackling - joined Warriors from Exeter Chiefs in the summer of 2004 and has not looked back since after becoming a crucial part of the Worcester line-up.

Rasmussen made his debut in the club’s first-ever Premiership match against Newcastle Falcons and cemented his place in the side straight away.

The centre was an ultra-consistent player throughout the 2005/06 season, playing 23 league and cup games throughout the campaign. His performances and commitment was recognised by the Warriors coaching staff when they selected him as the Player of the Year, which he picked up at the club’s prestigious end of season awards celebration.

Rasmussen continued to be an ever-present for the club during the 2006/07 season and delighted supporters when he agreed a three-year deal, which will keep him at Sixways until 2010.

During the 2007/08 campaign he joined forces with tough-tackling Sam Tuitupou to create one of the most powerful centre partnerships in the league.

Rasmussen made an impressive 27 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring three tries against Bucursti, Bristol Rugby and Leicester Tigers.
