| Back row dynamo James Collins is part of a crop of rising stars at Sixways Stadium eager to stake a first team claim in the 2008/09 campaign after already giving glimpses of his burning potential.
A product of the Warriors Academy, flanker Collins started the EDF Energy Cup clash with London Irish in December and the home clash with Bucuresti in the European Challenge Cup.
The flanker - skipper for most of the season in the Guinness A League - was handed a Guinness Premiership start in the away trip to Bristol Rugby in May and was hailed as man-of-the-match after a hugely impressive all-action show at the Memorial Stadium.
Collins, who signed a new two-year deal in March 2007 that means he will remain at Sixways until 2009, has also impressed the national selectors with his athleticism and skill and has been rewarded with numerous call-ups to the England Sevens squad.
