Rising star Joe Carlisle is a youngster tipped for greatness at Warriors after breaking into the first team and already showing his talents at fly half.
Carlisle has already given Warriors supporters a taste of what is to come after a thrilling first team debut in the pre-season clash with London Irish in the 2007/08 season, including a stunning individual try.
The young fly half was handed a start in the EDF Energy Cup clash with London Irish in December and has featured on several occasions in the European Challenge Cup for Warriors.
Carlisle was handed his first team league debut in the epic victory over Bristol in the final away game of the league season and also stepped off the bench in the European Challenge Cup final to slot a superb late conversion.
He was rewarded for his soaring progress at Sixways Stadium with a new three-year deal by Director of Rugby Mike Ruddock.
"Joe Carlisle is a fine young playmaker who is perfectly suited to the game we want to adopt here," said Ruddock.
"He has made significant contributions to first team and Guinness A League games and has a wide range of skills, including being one of the best passers of a ball that we have seen in a long time.
"There are areas of his game that he needs to work on to become first choice, but he is young enough to improve and has the hunger and desire to become a major player with the Warriors over the next three years."
